Mean and Green (water and fish)

The river is warming up (72*F today when I got off the water) and that means musky fishing should be good for a few more weeks or so. It's been a challenging spring season, but there's plenty of bass fishing this summer to forget about it and be ready for the fall.

Pictured here is a 35" musky that was caught on a Buford fly. This beautiful fish didn't have a single mark on it and fought really hard after t-boning the fly mid water column. I wish you could've been there to see the chaos, it was magnificent!
