Trips

Rivergoat Outfitters offers will operate Saturdays and Sundays for full day guided trips starting at $350 and half-day guided trips from $250.  We also offer fly fishing lessons.  Package options for smallmouth bass and musky will be available.  We promise to do our best to create a positive experience for you on the river regardless of your angling ability.  If you want to bring your own rod(s) and reel(s), flies, or lures, that's fantastic!  Otherwise, the cost of your trip includes all necessary tackle and baits.  Just bring yourself and a current VA freshwater fishing license.

If you are unsure about what to pack or wear for your trip, please contact us.  Things to think about would include layered clothing, waders, rainy/cold weather gear, sunscreen, hat, snacks/drinks/lunch, polarized glasses and a personal flotation device.  PFDs can be provided but the best PFD is one that you will wear.  We can not guarantee perfect fit or comfort, so bringing your own for the float can add to the comfort of your experience.
